The Waverly-Shell Rock Area United Way Diaper Bank supports local families in need

We are all experiencing the rising cost of food and other basic needs such as housing and clothing. Diapers are made available to families with young children in an attempt to reduce daily expenses to families that may be struggling financially.

  • The average monthly cost of disposable diapers per baby is $120
  • 12 Diapers per day are used by an average infant
  • Diapers are NOT funded with state or federal child safety-net programs

Our Warm Wishes Program is held annually to provide coats and winter gear to local kids in need.

Our premise is simple. We believe every child who needs a new winter coat should have one.

Think about taking advantage of winter coat (or snowpants) clearance for a child in need.

Description Title

Canned food is the most commonly donated item to the local food pantry. No everyone has a can opener.

Maybe it is broken.

Maybe it has been misplaced.

Maybe an individual is just getting back on their feet.

Maybe a woman fled domestic violence.

Maybe they just don't have a can opener.

Maybe you can help!

The Holiday Shoppe program is held annually and provides gifts to over 500 local children.

In addition to toys/gifts, HOLIDAY SHOPPE strives to meet the larger needs of the child. We also provide items such as food bundles and dental supplies.

This year, each child will receive a new towel and washcloth to promote good hygiene habits.
