The mission of the Caring Assistance Network organization is to coordinate the connections of community resources to individuals and families residing in the greater Waverly area. Caring Assistance Network brings 20+ partnering organizations together whose goal is to connect in-need community members to emergency resources such as rent and utility support, food, and clothing.
We coordinate services for food insecurity, system supports, housing, transportation, personal care, and health/child development. To find out if you are eligible for assistance, call Claire at 319-407-0204 or complete the application below.

Under Iowa's winter moratorium law, customers who qualify for LIHEAP (low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) are protected from the shutoff of natural gas or electric service annually from November 1 through April 1.
Since April 1, 2024, the Waverly Caring Assistance Network (CAN) has coordinated cases for over 25 local households avoid utility disconnection.
